Default Sag question

Anybody out there know if the sag for a vintage (83 RM 250) bike is the same as modern ? I just got my shock rebuilt and I am going to mess with the suspension this winter.

I actually posted in your link. I am wondering if the numbers are similar with older bikes. I am new to Vintage and just want the thing to behave.
