Update
I only had one race in October and I didn't as well as I would have liked. I got 8th however, I was racing a masters class which was 30A and B combined. In August I sprained my ankle real bad. I took 6 or so weeks of and started riding and in October, about the fifth weekend out, I came up short on a jump a re-injured my ankle. This time around I had to take a lot of time since my ankle was in pretty bad shape. I did PT and saw doctors on a regular basis to make sure things were healing correctly and to get it strong again. My ankle is good now and the doctors have said it's ok for me to ride. I have been practicing this month and I have gone three weeks in a row plus I rode twice this week. I am going to practice next weekend and race on 2/7. During my time off I really trained hard, I feel my muscle strength and endurance is really good so I am happy about that, but it sucks taking this much time off from riding. On a good note I am stoked to be riding and not burned out.
